Highly skilled engineers are in short supply, and the Royal Navy needs them. Meanwhile, once engineers get to a certain age, the Army and RAF engineers are given retirement. We want to speak to these talented individuals and make them aware that they can continue their military career in the Royal Navy, but showing how similar the role is. The ads ran in both Army and RAF magazines.
