This December 11, on International Mountain Day, we raise our voices with a clear message: if the tapir disappears, ecosystems will collapse; if the spectacled bear vanishes, forests and highlands will perish. To highlight this critical reality, we’ve transformed the geography of mountains into a unique graph that reveals the dramatic population decline of the species that inhabit them. The mountain is not just at risk—it’s losing its very shape. It’s time to act before the foundation of all life crumbles!
