Google and NBCUniversal launch holiday rom-com trailers that show how Search saves the day, and rekindles a few relationships along the way…
Building on the enduring popularity of holiday rom-coms – and Gen Z / Millennials’ love of parodying their familiar tropes on social media – Google partnered with NBCUniversal to produce three festive (though not entirely real) Christmas rom-com trailers that show how new Search features like AI Mode, Try On and Lens can help save the season.
Each trailer features talent from across the NBCU family, including Nicolas Vansteenberghe (Love Island), Donna Kelce (The Traitors), Johnny Weir (Winter Olympics / The Traitors), and Taylor Kinney (Chicago Fire).
The first trailer, ‘The Naughty Lister’, launches today (Tues. Nov 25). On Thursday, we’ll launch ‘Sleigh My Name’, followed by ‘The Gift Exchange’ in December. All trailers will be available at https://search.google/just-ask-google-holiday.

‘Mr. Fuzzy’s Big Adventure’ spotlights playful problem-solving with Veo and Nano Banana: a new kind of help from Google.
When a couple realizes they left their daughter's stuffed lamb on a plane, they turn to a range of Gemini features (and their own creativity) to save the day.
The spot created by Google Creative Lab and will run in the US on broadcast, and across digital and social.

In ‘Big Night Out?’ Santa sleighs the holidays with AI Mode and Try On
In this holiday-themed spot launching this Thursday, Nov 27 at 12:00pm ET, we find Santa craving a new look. Thankfully, he can easily search for inspiration using AI Mode and virtually Try On outfits, all within Google Search.

It’s a series of character-led stories, each showing how Google Search fits seamlessly into relatable life moments.
The spots were created by Google Creative Lab and will run across broadcast, digital/social and cinema throughout the holiday season.
