This Halloween, Havertys is getting haunted. The full-service home furnishings retailer has tapped Creative AOR EP+Co for a social activation featuring a spooky spin on Havertys’ furniture. The activation consists of five separate pieces of social content, which will be posted once a day on Instagram beginning Oct. 27 and ending on Halloween. Viewers can spy a new set of supernatural happenings surrounding Havertys furniture in each video.

EP+Co is consistently working to differentiate Havertys from competitors in the category by pushing the brand to leverage cultural moments in truly unique (even head-turning) ways. In fact, this isn’t the first time Havertys and the agency have teamed up to showcase its range of products in new ways on social media, having run several quirky seasonal campaigns in the past, including an illustrated guide to “Sectional Positions” for Valentine’s Day and the “SECtional Playbook” to celebrate football season with fans of the SEC conference.

Heading up the activation for Havertys is EP+Co’s Cultural Opportunities for Real-time Engagement (CORE) team, a dedicated group that works to identify cultural conversations the South Carolina-based agency’s clients can own, creating authentic, smart and exceptionally entertaining content that stays true to brand ethos.
