With the lockdown prompted by the Covid-19 pandemics, one of the very few situations where people are allowed to go outside their homes was to walk their dogs. To raise awareness on dog adoptions in a time when the topic is at the bottom of the priorities list, HappyTails civic initiative group launched a campaign portraying people walking their dogs during the pandemic. Besides having a companion that will improve the overall quality of life, adopting a dog or cat will give you an extra reason to leave your house and be more active. To encourage responsible adoptions, the volunteers at HappyTails are thoroughly screening future owners and are performing personality matchmaking tests to ensure there's a perfect fit between each animal and those who intend to adopt them.
