Get Away With More

Agency: Gus

Description

As travelers prepare to head home for the holidays, Away + Gus unveil “Get Away With More,” a cinematic campaign reintroducing Away with renewed creative confidence and marking the debut of their limited edition Metallic Holiday Collection.

At the heart of the campaign is a cinematic short, which will be distributed across the brand’s channels this season (e-commerce, digital, organic + paid social, e-mail, and retail). Filmed inside a rural airport in Budapest, the film transforms an empty industrial space into a spontaneous holiday gathering.

“Get Away With More” is a celebration of the modern traveler and the joy of travel that feels abundant, spontaneous, and audacious. It’s an ode to quite literally getting away with more—more joy, more connection, more celebration—because when you’re confident in your luggage, you can revel in travel that’s truly lived.

Set to a pulsing, spy-movie rhythm, the story follows a cast of travelers sprinting through their journeys, each on a mission to reach an undisclosed destination. When they finally converge, an unexpected dinner party unfolds—a full feast, seafood towers, and a wobbling Jell-O mold—all unpacked from Away luggage. It’s not chaos, but controlled freedom: a masterful celebration of authenticity, craft, and composure.

The visual tone strikes the perfect balance: festive yet refined, cinematic yet human. It’s “holiday,” but not too holiday. But this isn’t just a campaign about a dinner party. It’s a celebration of travelers who are unafraid to try new things—who see travel as an act of creativity, not routine. A reminder that the boldest journeys don’t follow itineraries, and that when you’re confident in your luggage, you can truly Get Away with More.
