DraftKings has unveiled its thirty-second Super Bowl ad ahead of the Big Game on Sunday.
The commercial introduces a new brand spokesperson, the Goddess of Fortune; a character who’s all too familiar to anyone who’s ever placed a bet. Throughout the action packed spot, the notoriously fickle Fortune demonstrates how notable sports icons such as Joe Namath and Evel Knievel have won her favor and been inspired to greatness by her motto, “Life’s a gamble.”
The Goddess of Fortune favors the bold and DraftKings has embodied this idea by offering up to 10,0000 customers a free bet to be placed on Super Bowl Sunday, with up to five people receiving a $1 million free bet. The only catch, recipients must lay it all on the Super Bowl before the final whistle, or risk losing it all.
