This project celebrates Egypt’s cultural and artistic heritage by bringing together all forms of puppetry, ranging from the Aragoz and shadow theatre to hand, rod, and marionette puppets, to revive and retell Egypt’s folkloric tales and classic operettas that once shaped generations. Through performances and workshops, Folklorette aims to reconnect children and families with the spirit of Egyptian folklore.
