Description
What do flat tires, groceries, laundry, car washes, and late-night cravings have in common? According to Snoonu, quite a lot.
To introduce Snoonu as Kuwait's first fully-fledged superapp, Beattie + Dane developed a campaign from a simple insight: life doesn't happen in categories. It happens all at once.
Built around the idea ‘with Snoonu, you get it’, the campaign plays on a dual meaning. You get what you need when you need it, and you get the story even when part of it is left unsaid.
Three fast-paced, comical films follow a deliberately unconventional storytelling style to show that Snoonu gets its audience, and its audience gets Snoonu. Rather than spelling out what Snoonu can do to handle life's many needs, the films leave parts of the story unsaid, letting viewers connect the dots and experience the superapp's capabilities firsthand through rapid sequences of relatable moments, visual punchlines, and awkwardly comedic encounters.
The films feature an unexpected hero: a squad of larger-than-life local bodybuilders dressed in unmistakable Snoonu red. Serving as a personification of the superapp itself, the bodybuilders consistently show up to sort out everyday situations, armed with a single catchphrase: "Snoonu."
The outcome is a campaign that feels distinctly Kuwaiti, refreshingly playful, and impossible to ignore. Much like the bodybuilders themselves.
After all, when a superapp walks into the room, people get it.
