Fiverr Shines a Spotlight on Freelancers with Times Square OOH

Fiverr is celebrating its global freelance community by giving independent professionals the chance to feature on one of the most iconic stages in the world, Times Square.
To mark International Freelancer Day, Fiverr has launched four new initiatives designed to strengthen connections across the global freelance community, headlined by a striking Times Square billboard contest that puts freelancers front and centre on one of the world’s most recognisable digital screens.
Now live at W 46th St. and Broadway, the campaign showcases headshots of six winning freelancers; giving them access to some of the world’s most valuable advertising real estate.
Matti Yahav, CMO, Fiverr said: “This campaign is a celebration of the people redefining what work looks like today. We’re putting our freelancers front and centre in Times Square, the world’s biggest stage, to showcase the future of work and celebrate the people shaping it. Our community inspires us every day, and we hope this campaign encourages others to look up and see them as we do.”
Among those featured is UK-based professional translator Andrea Sacchi from Devon, whose craft in bridging languages has been spotlighted as part of Fiverr’s celebration. Sacchi’s recent work includes providing Spanish subtitles for Ed Sheeran’s YouTube channel and official videos.
Sacchi said: “Seeing my face up in Times Square is surreal. Freelancing with Fiverr gives me access to a community that supports and inspires me, even though I often work solo. And now, I can say I’ve got one of the best ads in the world for my services.”
Running as part of Fiverr’s International Freelancer Day celebrations, the outdoor activation underscores the platform’s mission to elevate the independent workforce and highlight the human stories behind freelance success.
Started by Fiverr in 2022, International Freelancer Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of October, spotlighting freelancers around the world and their growing impact on the global economy.
