In this latest commercial for South Africa’s iconic Soul Food™️, Joe Public and Greg Gray of Romance Films follow Khwezi’s meteoric rise to fame and stardom made possible by all the fiery feels of the Rock My Soul™️ meal.

Our story begins with Khwezi as a struggling actor who just can’t access his emotions. Enter smooth operator and agent to the stars, Raz Matazz, and his golden ticket - a Rock My Soul™️ meal from Chicken Licken. Equipped with this spicy secret, Khwezi is able to deliver spectacular emotional performances ranging from anguish to anger with award-winning intensity and conviction.

Filmed on locations around Cape Town, the commercial features brilliant lead performances from Atandwa Kani and Josias Moleele, superbly supported by a cast of local actors. This, coupled with the carefully crafted camerawork and attention to authenticity and detail that Gray is renowned for, culminates in a film with cinematic scope and depth that remains true to the signature style and characteristic humour that fans have come to expect from Chicken Licken, the food that fires your soul.
