Matt Hoffman, the Award-winning director and founder of HB Films, has created a spot for Taylormade illustrating the beauty and precision required in golf by drawing a unique parallel to the similar principles required in dance featuring the new clubs from Taylormade: the Stealth Irons.
Set to the tune of Johann Strauss II's "The Blue Danube Waltz," the film syncs the unmistakable swoosh and clink of a TaylorMade golf club swinging and then hitting a ball to the most recognizable snippet of the classic waltz. Much like the music it's set to, the commercial also starts slow and builds momentum throughout, adding a lively sense of humor and bringing attention to the inherent fun of playing a round of golf. Featuring a cast of amateur golfers, Hoffman's shots of a wide range of people enjoying themselves on the green invite the viewer to feel like they're tagging along for a few holes.
