Montblanc, a brand renowned for its timeless writing instruments, has teamed up with AKQA to launch Montblanc Digital Paper, the maison’s first luxury e-writing device. This launch marks a new chapter in Montblanc’s tradition of craftsmanship and innovation.
The collaboration with AKQA has been instrumental over the past two years, transforming Montblanc’s vision into reality. Together, they worked on all aspects of the product’s development, from shaping the initial vision and user experience to designing the digital graphics system, refining the haptics, and supporting industrial design, created in close collaboration with Montblanc’s writing experts in Hamburg.

Montblanc Digital Paper redefines the art of writing in the digital age by combining premium craftsmanship with advanced functionality. Designed for discerning users, it offers a seamless e-writing experience that translates Montblanc’s signature handwriting into the digital realm, bridging the physical and digital worlds and reinforcing Montblanc’s position as a leader in luxury innovation.
