April 13: Kiss Day.
On a date that celebrates the power of kissing, we started from a less obvious insight: kissing also means eating lipstick.
It is estimated that, over a lifetime, a person can ingest up to 1.8 kg of lipstick without even realizing it, kiss by kiss. An invisible consumption that happens with every contact.
Based on this finding, we developed an idea to make it tangible: turning that consumption into something visible.
We created a series of prints where lipstick is represented as food, a direct metaphor that turns the symbolic act of “devouring with kisses” into a literal image.
The idea is summed up in a clear message:
Devouring with kisses is fine,
but eating lipstick… not so much.
