Defy the Storm is a campaign created by Vladimir Jones for the American Indian College Fund in response to recent executive orders threatening Native American students and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). Instead of using actors or stylized storytelling, the campaign gave real Native students the microphone, allowing them to share their stories of resilience, pride, and defiance in the face of systemic barriers to education and funding challenges.

The campaign's core message is that Native students don't just weather the storm, they Defy it. Transforming quiet awareness into a call for collective empathy, advocacy, and action.
