UCC, a coffee company with a long-standing commitment to delivering delicious coffee, recognized a significant challenge: approximately 75% of coffee drinkers couldn't find a coffee they truly enjoyed. Leveraging their 90 years of expertise in blending techniques and their mission to bring delightful coffee to as many people as possible, UCC developed a solution to address this issue.

Drawing upon their extensive data on blending various types and roasts of coffee beans, UCC created a unique "blend simulation system" capable of generating personalized blend recipes. With this system, they organized the "Date-Driven Bespoke Café" event, offering participants the opportunity to discover the taste of coffee they genuinely liked.

The impact of the event was remarkable, with long queues forming every day at the Tokyo and Osaka locations. Participants took to social media platforms to share their experiences, causing the event to trend on Twitter from its very first day. UCC's Instagram account gained an impressive 2.5 million followers, surpassing the initial goal by 131%. The online discussions were overwhelmingly positive, with comments such as "I can confidently say 'my favorite flavor is..'" flooding the social networking sites. In fact, 99% of the posted comments expressed satisfaction and enthusiasm.
Through their proprietary data-driven approach, UCC successfully addressed the 75% of coffee drinkers who struggled to find their ideal flavor.
