This entry is to showcase the results of a strategic communications plan to open a licensed cannabis dispensary, Union Square Travel Agency: A Cannabis Store, in NYC in the winter of 2023. This store marked the first public/private (non profit) dispensary partnership in the state and as such, qualified for a CAURD license and was among the first to be awarded a license and to open. USQTA's partner, The Doe Fund, helps men integrate back into society and has over 80,000 graduates in its 30 years of operation, and receives 51% of all dispensary profits which goes back into their program.

Those components along with its design and work force training, and an African American woman as its President, created an irresistible story for the media.
