#ClapForTheRightReasons is Hygeia HMO's 2022 World Malaria Day Initiative aimed at sensitizing Nigerians that a Malaria-free society is achievable as long as we all take up responsibility for our hygiene.
The Campaign strategy included social media messaging as well as a CSR project.
The message in the visuals highlighted simple life hacks such as maintaining a clean environment, using insecticide-treated nets, and seeking a professional diagnosis in place of self-medicating, which we can imbibe to eradicate the Malaria endemic.
The brand used the football analogy to drive home the message that just as it requires teamwork to win a beautiful goal, it requires everybody's contribution to ending Malaria once and for all.
For the CSR Project, the brand went into one of the most "at-risk" communities in Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria, to distribute insecticide-treated mosquito nets among nursing mothers and pregnant women.
