The world’s number one super-premium tequila brand, PATRÓN Tequila, brought its boldest activations yet to the Paddock Club at this weekend’s Austin Grand Prix where PATRÓN Tequila introduced the PATRÓN Citrus Circuit, the official cocktail of the Circuit of the Americas (COTA).
Over the weekend, F1 fans and race attendees were immersed in PATRÓN Tequila’s Mexican heritage with an exclusive pop-up created in partnership with Mexico City’s only Michelin–starred taco stand: Taqueria El Califa de León. Consumers were able to RSVP for the Cantina PATRÓN Pop-Up where they were served up a curated menu of signature tacos, expertly crafted PATRÓN cocktails, live music, and immersive experiences that showcase the brand’s authentic tequila-making process.
Actor Chace Crawford joined in on the fun at the Cantina PATRÓN pop-up and participated in The Citrus Chace Challenge, where Chace and key attendees participated in a high speed race to make the best PATRÓN Citrus Circuit cocktail in the fastest time.
On Fan Field, the Hacienda PATRÓN brought the brand’s iconic Jalisco distillery to Austin. This two-story destination featured the PATRÓN Tree Bar serving handcrafted cocktails, including the PATRÓN Citrus Circuit, plus photo-worthy backdrops like the agave wall and PATRÓN x COTA Barrel Wall. Guests enjoyed Citrus Circuit cocktails and DJ sets from local Austin artists, with a special surprise performance by DJ Austin Millz.
