In partnership with creative agency Mother, Taimi has launched “Came For, Stayed For” — a new campaign that transforms a viral meme format into a series of emotionally resonant, glitch-inspired short films. Each 15-second spot captures the journey from expectation to surprise, revealing the real way queer dating unfolds: unexpectedly, imperfectly, and often beautifully.
Directed by Italian-American filmmaker Gianna Mazzeo, Came For, Stayed For reflects the emotional unpredictability of modern dating. It begins with a certain type or intention, but leads to something deeper, funnier, and more affirming than originally imagined.
The big idea is simple: in love and life, what we discover may be even better than what we were looking for.
