Most people don't know that BancoEstado, the only public bank in Chile, is much more than it seems. It also supports SMEs, boosts local startups, finances the construction of hospitals, ports, and the largest fleet of electric buses in Latin America, promotes culture, and is present in many other areas.
To celebrate its 170th anniversary, we set out to give greater visibility to this broader role. That's where "BancoEstamos" was born: a double entendre that combines the Bank's name with a statement — saying "We are" present everywhere, even in the most unlikely places. Because when the country needs a public bank to help shape its future, we are there.
We are BancoEstado.
