10m March

Agency: Dminusone

Description

Each year, 19,330 injured soldiers are admitted to Korea’s Armed Forces Capital Hospital. Among them, those with lower-body injuries undergo daily rehabilitation along a hospital corridor less than 10 meters long. However, this repetitive process causes physical strain, places a heavy burden on medical staff, and often overlooks psychological recovery. We saw this short corridor as a lonely and grueling march for injured soldiers. This inspired the concept of "10m March", where Hyundai Motor Group becomes their comrade, walking alongside them in their recovery journey. To support them, Hyundai Robotics Lab donated two X-ble MEX wearable medical robots, projected 1,026 encouragement messages along the corridor, and provided financial aid for their families. The X-ble MEX enhances balance, mobility, and safety while reducing fall risks. Released on Korea’s Armed Forces Day, the campaign video surpassed 10 million YouTube views, gaining widespread media attention and positive responses.
