On National Nude Day, Bear Naked and Leo Burnett launched a campaign to blaze new trails by helping hikers and outdoor enthusiasts enjoy their snacks and the great outdoors the way nature intended—naked. In partnership with Outside’s Gaia GPS, Bear Naked will launch America’s first un(official) nude-friendly trail system, designed to make nude hiking more accessible this summer.
In addition to the trail system, the campaign includes the launch of a new product innovation, the Bear Naked Belt, to come to the aid of naked hikers. This newly-engineered snacking gear allows for easy snacking of Bear Naked granola to keep hunger at bay, and doubles as a loincloth to help hikers cover-up when needed.
This campaign pushes boundaries, fearlessly demonstrating the power of non-traditional advertising, by galvanizing this niche community of hikers to get “Bear Naked” (in more ways than one) this Summer.
