Description
An investigation carried out by the Institute of Ecology of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés (UMSA) in June 2021 that focused on 48 species of mammals, says that in the devastating fires experienced in the Bolivian Amazon in 2019 almost 6 million animals died.
So we decided to show in this campaign four victims of the fires, but who were lucky enough to survive: Hawk, Howler Monkey, Little Wild Pig and Little River Wolf, who were photographed by Daniel Alarcón and David Grunbaum, to show public opinion their pain and suffering, and demand from the authorities actions that allow this 2022 the fires do not continue destroying the Amazon.
