When DS became an individual entity and was no longer attaching its name to Citroen; the Egyptian market had problems perceiving the brand as French, which affected the sales of their new car launch DS7.
The campaign integrated famous french sights and monuments with the car's luxurious design and name to engrave the idea that the car is french in order to increase sales and position the brand as French.
