Description
The humanitarian mission of SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL is the fight of many lives. Those of those it helps as well as those of every humanitarian who fights to bring essential aid as far as it is needed.
This campaign is a tribute to these women and men who fight every day, as well as an affirmation of their humanitarian commitment to respond to human suffering for as long as it lasts.
These 40 years of commitment could be cause for celebration, but growing human suffering for many reasons and on many terrains, all so different and yet sadly similar, prevents it. Thus the three visuals of the campaign representing emblematic places of the fields of intervention, remind us that this year again celebrating this anniversary is not a priority.
The film, with a melancholic air of happy birthday, makes us discover a bunch of balloons floating in the wind on the places of the different fields of action of the humanitarians: a shantytown, a desert land, a city devastated by the war. The balloons explode to the rhythm of heavy weapons fire, leaving only one white balloon decorated with the SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL logo. This symbol represents the unconditional commitment of humanitarian workers on the front line to help populations in danger.
