Zacharia “Zach” Lorenz is a commercial director, editor, and drone pilot based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, working across Asia and the United States. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, he began his career after graduating from the University of Arizona and launched into the global scene in 2015 when he moved to Shenzhen to join DJI’s in-house creative studio, directing flagship campaigns such as the Mavic 2 Series. Since then, he’s collaborated with major brands including CNN, Samsung, Coca-Cola, OnePlus, and The North Face, specializing in tech-focused commercials and branded documentaries that bridge the creative sensibilities of Asian and Western markets. He is also the co-founder of Vantage Pictures, a production company with offices in the U.S., Hong Kong, and Vietnam.
