Mako Gisela Vergara

Hi, I’m Mako! My ID says “Gisela”, but no one calls me that anymore… Well, my mom does, I guess. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved to the US in late 2012 and got an “Alien of Extraordinary Ability” Visa for my work in the field of the Arts. Then, in 2022, I’ve mutated into an US citizen. I’m a Renaissance (alien?) woman. I’ve studied and worked in anything and everything that caught my attention: Illustration, graphic design, graffiti, animation, video games, manga, art toys… I’ve even done a few tattoos! One day, I’ve discovered that all the weird unrelated things I enjoy doing can be put to good use in a field that I always loved: Advertising. It just clicked. So, I’m currently working towards a college degree in Advertising at Universidad de Palermo, diplomas in Art Direction and Copywriting at Miami Ad School, and I also study Italian and Japanese on my spare time. I’m always hungry for knowledge!
