Satta king is a commonly used term in India that refers to someone who facilitates illicit gambling or wagering on the outcomes of specific games of chance, often on the numbers selected in multiple lotteries, including those organised by different states. The word "satta," from the Hindi, meaning "betting" or "gambling," and the title "King" is sometimes added to the end to indicate a person's status as a leader in the underworld of illicit betting.
