Uh I'm pretty sure a core principle of martial arts is avoiding conflict and only using violence when absolutely necessary. Doesn't seem to fit in with that philosophy at all. Aside from that, I don't find it particularly smart. Looks cute though.
I don't believe a child really ever wants to join karate because of its principals and philosophy-it's just something they come to learn and respect throughout the teachings. The ad plays to their here-and-now emotions. Like it!!

I agree that it's a good insight and theres some truth behind it. But as Shaun said, when you're contradicting a core value of the product, like in this case, i really don't see it as an optimal solution
