Han Solo is a character from the film series Star Wars. Star Wars is known for having strange alien characters, like the Wookie Chewbacca. Chewbacca is sometimes described as a “space gorilla”. Gorillas have been studied heavily in the wild by Jane Goodall. With over 10 million articles in 253 languages, you’ll be too busy reading to even wonder how you got there. So go ahead. Follow the blue.

When we were bored in the library we would play a game with wikipedia, you start at something like 'Horse Shoes' and try to see if you can get to Albert einstien by only clicking what comes up through each page, first one wins...

There is a truth to this ad, but it's not done in a surprising way. I'm not rewarded for following the "blue." Maybe if it started with Han Solo and ended with Han Solo...or start with "bible belt" and end with "fetish porn." Just something that creates some sense of a journey for which I'm rewarded. Also...I'm assuming this was done by a CW. Please find an AD to make these tighter, then lose most or all of the body copy. Unless you live in a cave under a rock at the bottom of the ocean, everyone knows what Wiki is. Just say "follow the blue." You're close to an idea...but you definitely need to keep pushing! Good luck!
I completely agree. I too thought it would be a lot better if it ended right back on Han Solo. Like a journey that goes around the world, instead of one where you lose your direction.
I like the insight. Keep working to really make this copy pop.

FYI, Creative Circus is an ad school...
---------------
I think, therefore... yeah.
talk about an undisciplined writer. a decent cd would have cut half the copy.
weak.

This is pretty lame for a client that lends itself to some exciting creative. Very vanilla.

Wrong, Wrong Wrong.
Gorillas have been studied........by Diana Fossey not Jane Goodall
I was about to call you on your douchey answer but it turns out you're right. Jane Goodall studied chimpanzees. You're answer is still douchey though.
I like the insight in these ads but I think the copy needs another 2 or 3 rounds of revision. It reads a little flat and I knew where you were going before I got the end. Tighten up the copy and you'll have a nice ad here.
