So spot-on. It should win some metal. AlmpaBBDO is now officially my favorite ad agency in the world.

I thought this was great at first. On the other hand this ad actually shows the technique being used to make people BELIEVE they should buy original parts. It doesn't explain why original parts are really better. Take 2 seemingly identical parts/products, make one more expensive than the other one, and people will THINK the more expensive one is better, without any proof it really is...

I don't think that would be the job of a print to explain/educate why original parts are better. Well, you can say one or two words about that in a bodycopy, but the concept still would be the same.

Agree, but then they would at least give me a reason why to spend more money. Now I'm just seeing two identical products. The fact that the most expensive one is probably the best one, might as well be just a psychological trick (a trick that works ;)

I totally agree with you.

If you zoom in really close you can tell the cheaper one, the one on the left, looks like it's been used. I can't tell any difference with the parachute ad.

its an ad with lot of truth inside. but on a wrong place... play with car, come on .. dont make it to look so forced.. u have breaks to sell? don't sell me vest.. put the breaks inside of a car that runs 200 kmh.. and than ask the question.. any way is a good starting point with quite low graphic..

Yes i think the same. Its better to show in a real car instead of forced ideas.
And %100 i would buy the cheapest one, if its %100 same with the original one...
