This is an ok visual pun but that's about it. The overall idea doesn't work. The whole "one thing that looks like another"technique isn't quite appropriate for this subject. It almost looks like you'll get delicious smelling clothes if you wash them in this product.
Although I don't think the technique is right for this, they'd have got more out the idea if they'd made the clean pile of laundry look like an air freshener or something. Then it might have worked better.
Doin' it for the points

wasn't clear enough...

little confusing

this is preposterous and absolutely not true.. a sandwich made from cloths can never say that its been cleaned from the stains...
maybe if they said, "enjoy all the meals" or something on those lines then would have been considered as a regular ad.
| everartz |

yeah, but there are no clothes there, only fabric.
I think it would be better if you could see a shirt, pants, shaping the sandwich.

so?

oh goody! more detergent ads!
ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING DETERGENT ADS!
Nice visual, but that's all.... sorry
Hell yeah!!
I disagree with most of the posts here. I think this is a great concept. It's clean, simple and makes you look twice. It's highly relevant to the brand's message. It's also easily memorable. I like it.

c'è una campagna di LACOSTE fatta più di 10 anni fa idendica e molto più bella
se non sbaglio l'art è GIOVANNI PORRO

Agree with Singularity. This isn't bad at all.
As for the idiot who said "I think it would be better if you could see a shirt, pants, shaping the sandwich", why? Is it impossible for food grease to stain a frigging carpet?

Already done 4 times before :

You can see the 3 other versions (including the italian one that a guest told us about) in my book, "Nouveau?" published in France and available thru Amazon.fr : http://www.amazon.fr/dp/2753300690?tag=joelapompe-21&camp=1414&creativ...

This is not solid enough.
On first impression, i took it that my clothing smelled like hamburgers.
As much as your line says that it removes greasy stains, it does not elaborate on the benefit on how your clothes will smell.
secondly, after looking at your line, the idea doesn't come through clearly, and left me wondering why is it the way it is (for customers to shift their focus from the product to your ad, is not good)
the illustration of those fabrics just don't look clear/obvious until I've read some of the comments here. what if the audiences have never heard of vanish and don't know that vanish is a detergent product?
also, some burgers are just as delicious tasting even when the sauces are dripping a bit. lol. my point is, i just don't really see the connection between clothes' stains and stains in burgers.
eye candy. period.
Think it for a while.
Then, in anytime, it will come to your mind as an idea.
this not working for me at all even if the sandwich looks like easy thing to manege with , its going to be eating means getting damaged not clean ,,
great artwork but confusing idea
Creativity is simplicity
May be if they would have left a little bit of natural burger bun rendering..!! Now it looks plastic-like!

DONE DONE DOOOOOONNNNNE !!!!!
Ok ad. The execution is nice. However, the vanish confessional rocks this ad.
Done!
