色彩持续一生?换个角度,可不可以理解为褪色?

It's pretty. & a clean concept.

But it feels like the paint is coming OFF the subject.

Regardless of it landing in the bucket, my first response is that this product doesn't last at all.

"Drips right off after application."

(I'm aware of the intent of the concept. This is just how I feel this reads)

Surprising that this old concept can have so much elegance and energy. Congrats for this.

Since when?
Also, if all paints leaked off, why would you want to paint? What purpose would you achieve?

I do believe that either this one or the yellow leaf is my favorite of this set of ads. It is a very creative idea, It is classic and the dynamic contrasts catch the viewer's eye. This advertisement has so much more than what meets the eye. There is the passion of a violinist, the love of colors, and the classic beauty of it all pouring out into a Valspar can of paint. They nailed it.

To those who still don't get the campaign: this is not about draining or leaking of paint (meaning Valspar paint is not good). Notice that all objects used - violin, which is essentially wood, starfish, peppers, and leaf - are nature made. What we have draining, figuratively, into that paint can therefore is their (natural) color, not actual paint (which implies something man made). And what's more beautiful or classic than a natural color or color of life? So the brilliant idea here is that Valspar paint not only offers or captures those colors, but also makes them last "a lifetime" (which implies premium long lasting paint).

Hello,
Does anybody know where these ads were placed in 2009? A specific magazine or something? Thank you.
