With the recently developed 'selfie' craze, this effective print ad uses this idea to portray a very important message about not using mobile phones and taking photos whilst driving. A typical image of what would be seen when uploading a photo to Instagram is used as the visual imagery to grab viewers attention, which Toyota recognised as something that lots of people can relate to. Toyota also uses strong words as a useful 'scare tactic' for viewers to make the message more effective and powerful. Along side this, Toyota uses the hashtag 'Don't Shoot and Drive', a to the point and clear statement about the message they're aiming to portray. The use of the hashtag incorporates social media platforms into their advertisement, thus meaning the message reaches out to far more people.
