It has been done; however, I think this is the better execution. Having only one dummy in the human world makes the dummy come alive for me, as if it is actually enjoying its retirement. Having every character in the retirement home being a dummy makes it look like a set for a nuclear bomb blast test - even the safety acronyms take on a militaristic tone. Both ads would work great to communicate the message of safety to consumers, I just think this one is done better.
