Description
Print advertisement created by Y&R, Chile for Stabilo, within the category: Office Equipment.
Creative Directors: Alvaro Becker, Francisco Cavada, Emerson Navarrete
Illustrator: Salamanca
It's difficult to criticise this. It's nice, especially the art.
Question. Does this idea need the highlighted name on paper?
The Jobless Writer
Will Think for Salary
Salamanca is really an amazing artist.
Simple clear concept. Personally, I think it needs the highlighted name to cover 'the dummy factor'.
Great work.
Stabilo Boss is the Brand, but who's the Client that can back up these ads? Mega production highlighter ads? i would really like to see the media plan and the clients signature on it. And if there really is such a client. By the way, it's funny how tons of ghost ads begin to appear right before Cannes. Go figure...
Beautiful illustration. Outstanding as a matter of fact
THERE'S NO HEAVIER BURDEN THAN A GREAT POTENTIAL
I like it, although I would've liked to see the name highlighted with a little bit more of text around it.
Another great highlighter ad. There seems to be one in Cannes every year. Some years there are two. I am sure I will see this in some annuals. However, I have still never seen a highlighter ad in real life. Strange.
this is art, not ad. The ad-part is bad, the art-part is wuuuuuhhhuuuuuu!
I think this ad does a terrific job of appealing to the audiences emotional appeals. The artwork is wonderful and really grabs your attention. Great to see such wonderful ad work coming out of Chile. Truly a great advertisement.
Flawless illustration. Minor gripe with the fact that the strip of paper with the highlighted text has already been cut out and is sitting above and apart from the illustration; if it is already 'captioning' the picture in this way, there's no need to highlight. That aside, these are all truly gorgeous, and only the child in me wants to see a 'Waldo' version.
check out JWT India's ad for Luxor Highlighter pens... it kicks balls
this one hardly stands a chance.
they showed me a picture & i laughed
dignity has never been photographed
i love how they executed the idea..
