I think the idea went too literally here. It's way too abstract now for anyone to get it in a few seconds. The image seemed appealing at first, but after that it just got disturbing to me.

So is it just the same old high end magazine snob aspirational? Just name a hotshot street, like Wall Street or Rodeo Drive, and associate your product and those who would use it with it?
If it's something else, someone please step forward to explain it. I'd call it handsome but empty.

I actually like it - even if a little bit tricky, I've been orientating myself towards minimalism, so I understood this faster as a light, compact and elegant road sign, allowing for more to be mounted on a pole - without looking kitschy - just like the more Smarts can take the same space less normal cars take and still look nice. just my 2cents
