Creative Director: SD Nish
Art Director: Tissa Samarakoon
Copywriters: Diyani Perera, Eshan Fernando
Photographer: Steve Cohn

Horrible execution and weak copy.

i like the approach, but i agree with you, the visual could have been better. i liked the copy though.

was this boy really beaten-up????

these ads come from a tiny island... i never heard of srilanka before tsunamis... beautiful island.

nice idea, but i hate the visual.... guys, pls spend more time on visuals.

good, but not very good.

mr.nish, do you think these ads are really creative?

nice approach, i like the 'don't hide' concept, visual can be better, photography is lame, horrible lighting

good for post war sri lanka

redlime : what's with the name? sounds nice though.

never heard of redlime. checked website, they are not an ad agency, it's a research-design firm... so what's with this campaign?
a research firm doing ad campaign???

visual rendition of the brief is it?
ideas....30 minutes nahi toh free.

indians fighting with sri lankans...sad - sad - sad - sad. don't be rude kalpesh.

must have been a 10$ budget, you need to locate the map to see where srilanka is, it's sooooo tiny. funny that they got an ad-industry.
but i like the idea, bad visual, great idea.

admittedly work is not the greatest in any means. some junior creatives in Sri Lanka have done far better work but FYI size of a country doesn't reflect it's creative prowess.
Agencies from Sri Lanka have won ad awards around the world... So before you open your stinking mouth and bash a country...go read up little son...
Sri Lanka won a Gold this time at ad fest...won Silver at Adfest and countless awards across ad shows including the Cannes...
what have you done?
moonam maha moda pakayek... vesa balla! :)
lankawata awanam ata deka kapala lunu dehi danawa :) :)

i just love the idea, but hate the visual.

bad photography, not so great visual design nut GREAT idea and approach. i love the don't hide insight, it's so true.

nish says he is sri lankan, but he is actually indian, or indian origin. yeah, yeah, this is fully imported.

this guy nish is suntheram divakele nissanka, worked as a paste-up artist at triad : sri lanka's largest and No.1 advertising agency.

very good effort nish, tissa and team....from silent admirer :)

this is a nice surprise... good to see sri lankan agency work showcased, good work nish and team, you guys are a good team.

Algunos estadounidenses no aprenden..siguen siendo igual de prepotentes y maleducados a la hora de calificar el trabajo en función a su nacionalidad.
Patético.
Os quiero recordar que Vietnam tampoco era muy grande.. :DDD
No puedo soportar a los estadounidenses prepotentes. Hablais como si vuestra publicidad fuese excelente...
Some Americans do not learn .. are still as rude and arrogant when it comes to grade the work according to their nationality.
Pathetic.
I want to remember that Vietnam was not very big .. : DDD
I can not stand arrogant Americans. You speak as if your advertising was excellent ...and it is not.

An ambulance service/comany won cannes this year with a layout and idea very similar to this one. It is not because is british but the british one was much better than this one. Regarding to layout and copy.

what is this ad all about, when they say talk to us, where is the link to talk, a phone number, mail id, url.....nothing is there.
they took pictures of some beaten up tamilians and exhibiting here for appreciations........sick people

done like a thousand times

works for me nish, but why bad photography???

thought provoking, red lime has been producing some decent work, but a small agency, you need to grow bigger in size and produce more work, this is good for sri lanka, nice stuff nish redlime
