Awesome visual but making friends is normally fun, this looks painfully dull.

A good advertisement for a concept for an interesting image, but not a good one for carpooling.

(Also, as of Nov 1, Rodney District Council does not exist. Partially because they failed to
carpool to council meetings, thereby costing ratepayers a fortune in travel expenses.)

Agreed on both points.

But making new friends is synonymous with conversation and relationship building. Why can't one of the ads have the "passenger" turning around his/her should to engage the those in the "backseat"?

Ok... But how does this do anything?? We need to change consumers perception of the underlying problem...This doesn't do it...at all!!! Is this a poster? Or an ad? What is this?? BAD BAD BAD!

Funny. Love the positive focus. Show people a penguin covered in oil and they'll probably switch off. Tell them they can make new friends and they just might act.
