this is somewhere between brilliant and bloody stupid.
i tend to like it even though it probably wouldn't work.
maybe these ads are targeted at ad people only.

My good Indian friend just told me to see a great piece of copy with the title "Olays tock tick". So here I am.

It took me a while to get an idea of what's going on on this ad.
My bet is that a copywriter is trying to write an ad for an anti-aging cream. So what we the centered text is the copy this advertiser wrote.
We may assume he felt inspired and at that time felt he had a great idea.
Usually time goes "tick, tock, tick, tock...", but because the product to be advertised is anti-aging, then this great copywriter thought the opposite: "tock, tick".
I mean, sometimes you spend hours, days and weeks to get a simple slogan.
Here it seems the copywriter came with the copy in less than five seconds, when he first brainstormed.
Among copywriters you may think "what a great copy this is".
But, on a second thought, considering that an advertiser writes ads for a consumer audience, then the idea doesn't work. So you need to throw away the piece of paper. (This is why mariayya said: "we get to be scary doing ads like this...", I guess).
Luckily for this copywriter, he can throw this piece of paper away without feeling the burden of having cut a tree for nothing. So you can throw it away without shame.
Well, that's my try.
And, in my opinion, deserves a click on the heart above.
