Ripped off. We did a similar campaign a couple years ago (in Columbus), just a ton better. Never send your portfolio to these guys.

So you really believe that no other person in all of advertising could have come up with the formula "this product saves you time so you can move on and do other things"? Really? I'm guessing I could find about a hundred executions that appeared before yours.

I'm a CD who happens to know the creative team who came up with the original idea that this agency "borrowed" the idea from. I've seen the campaigns side by side, and the executions are different but the idea is the exact same. Normally you'd say it was coincidence, but when one of their portfolios was over there recently it's obvious it was scammed. I will never hire any of the creatives listed.

ps - both creatives of the original work (not the stuff here) have killer books and I'm hiring them once we get some new business. Why Engauge didn't hire them – either they don't need anyone right now or they have no clue. And judging from their Donato's campaign...
