Nice photography – stupid idea. Why should someone in the subway when he's already tanned. I don't know.

I think you missed the idea. It seems to me the towel represents the fact that you can have that "tanned look" anywhere you go. The towel is simply a graphic representation, and not supposed to represent literally laying out to tan in a subway.

The idea is that you don´t have to be in the beach to get a tan, or spend money in the solarium because with Nivea Sun you can get the same results.
