The typeface choice is not good. Like, really not good. Easy fix though. I would make the mustache so much more pronounced. Exaggerated even. It's not good right now, but I think it can become a fun series. The CTA needs to be reworked and punched up.

I think this ad clever and the message is very clear. "No shave November" is a popular fade that thousand of men take part in every year but not many people really understand the significants of not shaving for the month of November. Like October is breast cancer awareness month, the month of November is build awareness for mens health health issues like prostate cancer. What makes this ad works is the familiarity many people have with romance novel covers and adding normal looking guys to spread a message that anyone can be hero, not just the muscular men on the covers of those novels. With the bold white letters it reads "Be a Hero" which helps grab the attention for the audience and readers. The man in the ad also has a moustache which is the unofficial symbol of the charity. The smaller copy on the ad does a excellent job in spreading the message and pretty much sum of the ad in a few short sentences. The logo at the bottom also gives it the look and feel vintage romance novel. Overall I think the ad works and relates the importance of the message in a funny/clever way.

I think with these ads you would at least take a look, but since they look so much like a cover of a romance novel they stink.

An axe murderer of ads.
