Aw, I like it. It's simple and to the point. I understand though that the use of the mouse is overdone and possibly outdated. Maybe if they used an optical? Hey, at least it's wireless!

Just because something is used a lot doesnt mean its automatically bad. When something is used a lot in bad or forced ways then that is bad.

This does tell the story as quickly as possible. The mouse resembles white rice under the fish, so why change the mouse to a less effective visual just because “mouse” ads have been prevalant recently. Besides to us maybe weve seen it often but the consumer likely doenst make this distinction. Its about the message first, the execution second.

Dial-up for sushi = Salmon on a white phone
Take-out sushi = Salmon on a white styrofoam box
Sushi delivery = Salmon on a white bicycle tire / white steering wheel
Sushi counter = salmon lined up on a white counter top

It's not forced, it's too easy, therefore not terribly insightful, ergo not very good.

If you are going to do easy ads, do them for products that exist and that people can figure out what the ad is supposed to do.
