I've heard that a lot of liquor ads in India use this 'lifestyle' way - but should that make a proper excuse? The art is lovely, really lovely but the idea is absent.
FYI companies DO NOT have rights to advertise alcohol in India, but they do need to stay in the consumers mind...so they make complete ads for SODA under the umbrella brand...yes yes, very hypocritical of the govt. since a huge amount of revenue comes from the alcohol, but it does make for some really interesting restrictions that u gotta get around creatively...so i dont know this was released in India, probably just outsourced...and in any case most advertising in india is about eye-popping visuals and less about a foolproof idea...
Ah, thanks - that's very interesting indeed. I didn't know that :)
ahh no problem, btw, it was published "Oct-2011" - Now in India...hmmmm
I agree. It looks good, but no idea. Perhaps it doesn't need one.

There is an idea, local culture is portrayed in each ad. And though not a fresh idea, it is presented beautifully.
I like your interpretation - sub culture is more exact, if I may.

I like the art except for the parts that overlap the bottle. do i have to like the rest?
Oh yes. It's mandatory. Part of the SOPA and PIPA bills.
That's it.
