Sorry, but I never believe this campaign actually run. Bad idea, insanely bad photoshop-work - and why is the claim in German???!

All out bad.

I wasn't talking about the headline, I was talking of the CLAIM ON THE UPPER LEFT, guys!

"Vorsprung durch Technik" is german!!!!!

Yes.. the claim is in german and the headline in spanish, probably nonsense client´s guidelines, but how about the claim which actually says "Let yourself go", "Let it take you" or something like that would be the correct translation, NOTHING ABOUT THE ROUTE BEING MARKED. What happened there dearest Ivan??

The german claim thing was the idea of Barbara Nokes, an famous british creative. She worked
with the Audi account and saw those words painted over a doorway in the Audi factory in germany.
She proposed to use it worldwide (since it's pretty easy understand, even in german)
to make clear that the Audi is a german car, therefore well engineered, which was a fact not really known in other countries.

The claim is absolute genius. They asked people around the world to say something german and quite a few of them said 'vorsprung durch technik'. This ad though isn't genius.

Hmm...what a genius. Did she also tell VW to do THE EXACT SAME THING with 'Aus Liebe zum Automobil'?

I think just one of those green pins in one spot could work better.
Show that place you wanna get. Not the whole road.

the idea depent of the execution in this case and the art direction is bad,

maybe if the benefit were that the car grips to the road... or has the trip nailed... I need a link between the execution and the product, you don´t use this pins for anything at all when planning a trip or even less using a GPS I believe.

Total ripoff of a GPS ad in that was in CA & The One Show book a few years back. Oh wait, that was RED pushpin. Never mind.
