If they'd left the people in these ads whole, they wouldn't be bad-looking little ads. The type and vector things are tasty. (It sort of reminds me of the late '80s and Emigre, but that's really just a case of retro catching up with our direct memory.)

I would like to see how they could have achieved the quirk they were apparently after without replacing the models' heads or, as Curious Pencil is saying, sacrificing their humanity. This would be a great series to share with students for a redesign project.
