Much clear, but it's the same idea : the two giants are the first and the second mobile operators…

Always wanted to ask... what's "btw" mean?

Most times, worst enemies used to be best friends...
Thanks man. We live to learn just like we learn to live.

This is a cool visual, but it seems like their only selling point is that they are NOT the first or second mobile operator. They also emphasize that they are tiny. I don't live in Finland, so I guess I'm not the target audience, but people must really have to hate the #1 and #2 for this to be a really effective campaign.

I like it. Almost always this type of briefs ends in dull and boring ideas. Excelent art direction.

Why would being a "giant slayer" appeal to consumers? This may make sense for an ad in the annual investor report but why would you want to advertise the fact that you are less popular and inferior to consumers?
People like underdogs. People identify with the smaller, apparently-struggling company. Case in point - Linux.

Linux makes a superior product, it's not a favorite underdog because Microsoft is bigger, if Microsoft's software wasn't often free and fantastic there wouldn't be a market or community around Linux. This company hasn't given any incentive to consumers to switch except that they're smaller.
i think, the basic idea is just like AVIS ad, we are no. 2 that's why we try harder ....

Hey i agree with dimwit....the idea does relate to the whole "that's why we try harder" ad and as DNA looks as themselves as a third mobile operator, they probably have to try extra harder!!! So , on my end, the picture is basically saying, that dna(the small person) is fighting really hard to be competitive against the other two mobiles companies (the giants) and their trying their best to bring them down to their level. However...exactly how did such a small man get two huge giants down? we could look at it from that angle...we can assume that DNA is not a third mobile operator to be reckoned with!!! so push comes to shove...the ad was a genius creation but most people don't have the capacity to sit down an analyze a print ad... because most people tend to like to see what they're getting in BOLD!!!
