It took me a while to get that this is the alarm mute button found on the washer's controls. If I own a washer that's more than 10 years old, I probably have never seen such a thing. Which means the message is probably lost on your target audience.

Well that's just lazy.

"How are we going to project the image that this washing machine is noiseless?"

"I know: we'll make the washing machine out of mute icons!"

Very good. Except that anyone who doesn't use a computer on a regular basis wouldn't identify with that symbol (it's not on many stereos or DVD players). Next time, actually put more than 3 minutes into developing your ad.

You may be showing that its noiseless using the mute icons but by creating so much visual noise as well with all those icons it doesnt help your cause in any way whatsoever
